the ikelite smartcharger will plug directly into any ac power source in the world (you might need a plug adapter to physically fit, but not a voltage converter). It starts with a fast charge and then as the battery reaches full charge, it slows down to a trickle, then once completely charged...

If we decide to make a calendar, all photos can be put on the ofoto.com website. Anyone that wants a calendar can sign up for ofoto (free) and access that folder and then pick their 12 favorite shots. Everyone could end up with different calendars. I would glady take email submissions and...

canon G3? best bet? No.... it's a good camera, but if you are going to describe something as "money no object", then you move up to the world of SLR-style digital cameras.
By the way... the new canon EOS-10D is looking very nice... wonder when they'll be available.

As I mentioned in the other thread... all photos can be put in an online folder, from which calendars can actually be ordered.
