Chamber in Subic Bay Renovation Poll

My sentiments exactly Andi, The Subic Bay Dive Association would be very interested in seeing the chamber back online once again. Reiterating what Axua pointed out it boils down to Economics and determining who's going to flip the bill? It takes a lot of money to keep it maintained/staffed/ and...

    Hyperbaric chamber Subic

It is very unfortunate and pitifull, the Subic Chamber is currently in dire straights and in need of some serious attention, try explaining that to upper management of SBYC and it will fall on deaf ears. Subic Trip Report - 10 March 2007

USS New York, pride n joy of Subic Bay is definately a must dive, 27M outside max depth, 18M to top makes for an excellent ML profile, vis has been layered lately so expect usual iner bay conditions. Try the LST at 34M max to bottom, and 28M to the top, usually offers better conditions...

    Subic Trip Report - 10 March 2007

IMHO Kev"s observation is valid, 1st dive in 6 months, OW certification, depth in excess of 30 m inside cargo hold of the LST? Their profile brought them through an overhead environement, not advisable without special training and equipment.
