I got jetfins already and didnt like f1's. Jetfins have great weight but nowhere near the foot pocket comfort as eddys.
Eddys are just so perfect, i need a negative version :)
I went through a few backplates before i found the one that fit my body best. No, not all backplates are exactly the same. Some angles are more sharp, others more flat. When i tried the apeks one, it too hit the bottom of my back sharply. My current bp and favorite, is the Hollis.
Its amazing how wildlife and the earth are already repairing itself after only 1 month of destructive humans being locked up. We pride ourselves on how superior and knowledgeable we are compared to other species, and yet that also shows how utterly stupid we are that even with our superior...
I've used the medium and hards. I preferred the stiffness of the hards but the foot pocket isnt very good. The deep6 eddy fins are still my favorite but the hard xdeep are a bit stiffer. Foot pocket on eddy fins fins are by far the best i have used.

I think you can easily have 2 backplates (1 setup for warm water, 1 for cold) and a single #30/35 wing like dgx or vdh that will work for both wetsuits. Under $600 all in.
I do a lot of shore dives and i've used all methods described here + some custom 1" straps looped permanently to my belt slide. I like the large carabiner the best as i've lost bolt snap types before and i hate the danglies while in the water. Carabiners dont dangle as much and they are harder...
I just got an F8 color change kit and wondering how to remove the adjustment knob? I popped the rubber cap off and see the hex screw but not sure if that needs to be removed and then the adj. knob will unscrew off? And if so, this hex screw will need to be readjusted again together with the...
