I highly recommend anyone to do the warmup dive in Cabo San Lucas. It helps iron out the kinks in your dive gears and skills.

Then do the Cabo Pulmo after Socorro.

After diving in Socorro, Gordo Banks would be meh.

My dive at Gordo Banks in December 2020 included schooling hammerheads and two mobula rays. And a humpback passed our boat during our surface interval. Definitely not meh!

Lucky you!

130’ dive would be short dive though. School hammerheads in Socorro may be around 90-100’ depth.
