I did my first trip to port hardy in sept and was blown away.
I stayed in PH and dove daily with Sean from UB diving. The elevator is a real treat.
Hard to believe it’s so close and so unbelievable.

Can’t wait to go back

There’s a huge sea lion that lives in the PH marina. His name is scar face and he’s a beast
 
I'm amazed by your experience w/ the CBSA at YVR. Can you elaborate on that, please?
 
It was at the U.S. Border and Customs Security desk. The guard kept trying to get a value for our cameras and housings. We tried explaining that they are a few years old and we have never been asked that when traveling to and from Canada. He eventually let us go through, but we'll have to get some kind of receipt from Homeland Security next time.
