Solved: Searching your own messages

Is there a way t search your own DMs? Can't seem to find that...

Try this:

Click the envelope icon and click Show All.

Then click Filters then click Started By and enter your username.

Not sure I understand. Are you talking about the Keyword required in ScubaBoard's search function? I have cheated by just adding the letter "a" or "e", which virtually finds everything. It would be nice if xenForo added the "Any" option to the keyword field.

I’m looking to search by keyword within my messages. That function exists on the board but not in messages. You can search by sender but not keyword.

Say I remember that someone (can’t remember who) sent me a DM about a “spear”. How do I look for that message within my inbox?

I don't think that DMs are indexed by the search engine because they are private. If anyone would know it would be @Miyaru

Searching in conversations has been added for ScubaBoard Supporters and ScubaBoard Sponsors.

Quick start:

Click the envelope, click Show all

Click Conversation search

Try it, e.g. with spear...
