Approx 20 years ago I was a frequent scuba diver. As an incidental finding from other tests, it was discovered I have both a 3mm ASD and a 3mm brain aneurysm. My treatment was to take a full strength aspirin a day and stop diving and get an MRA every 12-18 months to monitor. I did that. Fast forward 20 years - the aneurysm has never grown and is considered stable. Would there be any possibility of diving again? Even shallow diving less than 40 feet would be nice.

Texas has multiple hyperbaric diving physicians. You should ask them.

Unfortunately ASD is an absolute contraindication for diving. As mentioned above, there are diving medicine specialists in Texas that you could see in person if you'd like. Most are associated with hyperbaric units.
