How effective are drysuits? I feel the cold!

A drysuit is not meant to keep you warm.
It is meant to keep you dry.
A trilaminate drysuit alone, for example, would be horribly cold.

What you wear underneath the drysuits matters!!!

Yeah, there's an odd-sounding saying about drysuit diving that "lead is warmth."
When you've been diving dry since your first cert, it isn't odd at all. It makes perfect sense.
