Greetings from New Orleans. You live not too far north of some of the best drift-diving there is, out of Jupiter and West Palm. Good boat operators and DMs, fun diving, you just splash in and let the current carry you to the north, while you look at the reef and the critters. Boat drifts north too, so your air lasts a long time since you don't have to propel yourself that much, and don't have to "get back to" the boat, it's always pretty close by.
