I think the vis is very location dependant. I dove the Rothesay and lock 25 a couple of weeks ago and the vis was less than 5 feet, it was probably 25 to 30 feet at the Ash island barge last week.
 
Kind of cooler for this time of year, I have log book entries from years gone by where it’s in the mid 70s.

We went (my only time so little experience) in Sep of 18, was 68F. I was kind of surprised, idk.
 
Yes by now it is normally into the low 70's. Hopefully it will get there soon. Viz today at Lock 28 to the Conestoga was fairly decent around 20' (temp still 68F).
