I've came out with ss back plate weights.
They come in a set of 3.5 lbs.
They fit dive rite and hollis back plates.
$42 per set. Message me if your interested.

Man do I miss that site. Was a few months short of picking up a few new things. One being those weights
 
Dive Rite and a few others had either soft weights or V shaped weights that fit into the V on the inside of the backplate using the tank band screws over 20 years ago. Nothing new. Infact I still have them using as door stops.
