My new Scubapro pressure gauge was leaking bubbles from the boot area.
Loose connection?
Can I take the boot off and see?

Yeah go online to oringstore.com or Mcmaster and just buy your self a 100 pack bag of size 003 o-rings for a couple bucks and you set for life.

You will soon find out that these are one of the most changed O-rings in diving.

Its brand new.
Guess its not in a "boot".
Its just a single pressure gauge.
Its leaking bubbles from somewhere.

Might have been someone in a hurry when they put your reg set together and pinched a o-ring on the spool.

Remove the boot (I would just throw it away but it you like it keep it) pressure up your reg and put it under water. 99% chance you will see bubbles coming out from where the SPG connects to the hose it this is the case using two wrenches remove the SPG, pull the little spool out and change the two little o-rings on it. I always put a little grease on these. Now put it back together and it should be fixed.

did you get it locally? If yes, insist they fix it...

Otherwise, obtain either o-rings or a spool and swap them/it out.
