Hi everyone, who has some custom vehicle storage for their gear? Got pics? Here is what I came up with. What would you do different?

Here is Sid, my beloved Toyota Hilux.
I am in the process of getting a H-rack welded that can be bolted (Removable) to the bed-slide so I can have tanks standing, and have support for the breathers. However it works magically as it is.
If I recall correctly, on the slide was: 3xD12s, 1xD7, 3x7L, 1xAlu40, 3xAlu80 and som change for the 2 GUE Rebreathers in the back.
Live in Norway, so open truckbed with snow is a really bad idea. Tanks are just stored in the truck.

Oh... and Sid is a girls best friend!

That is a nice set up. I am looking at a truck topper too ( I am in the US midwest, we get lots of snow too) but havent found a good one yet. I can get 16 aluminum 80s without stacking tanks. Another 12 if I stack them.

Have no idea what you can get in the states, but to me, the possibility of getting to top connected to the cars central lock was important. I had the original Toyota top on it first. Talk about complete and utter waste of resources. unlocking 5 handles with an analogue key every time you wanted something done was insane. So I ended up with the Alpha GSX. It has central lock. Works with the key-less. (IE, I can put the key in a small dryback and open the car without having to get the key wet). It also has 12V outlet in the back.

I will have to check out the GSX, thanks for the idea. Hopefully I will be putting a deep cycle battery and inverter in the bed once I have a cover.

I just pile tanks in the back?

One of these days I'm going to have to dive in Norway. Very cool setup!

I hate to be "that guy", but since I care about your safety: in an accident, those tanks are going to go flying into the passenger compartment, causing lots of damage. Unless I'm missing something.
Outside of a rollover, they aren't going anywhere, there is a seat directly in front of them. In a rollover, it is anybody's guess.
