Has any one one ice dived from shore when the ice starts thinning? I under stand if ice shifts. But if you have someone tending the entry point making sure it’s clear and treat it similar to a cave/ wreck dive. Any other things to worry about?
 
How are you going to cut the arrow? Does the rope get tangles in the flow if it breaks up?

Ice diving sounds pretty hardcore with a steady surface but when it's shifting? Yeesh. Big cajones, man.
