Here's a current list of destinations you can travel to as of 1/14/21 courtesy of www.vacationstogo.com. This is not an endorsement for this web site nor is this a comprehensive list. I subscribe to their e-mail alerts and wanted to pass along the information to the forum.

COVID-19 vaccinations are underway in the U.S., Canada and other countries and will increase dramatically in the coming months. The chief science advisor of Operation Warp Speed, the U.S. government's expedited search for development and delivery of a vaccine, has said that every American who wants a vaccine will be able to get one by June. Health officials in Canada have said that all Canadians who want a vaccine will receive one by September.

The vaccine rollout marks the turning point in the battle against COVID-19 and the global travel industry is finally on a sure path to reopening. That reopening will take months to play out and will likely occur on a country-by-country basis.

The tropical destinations below are open now.

Note that starting January 26, all travelers ages two and older on international flights to the U.S. will be required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test (NAAT or antigen) taken within 72 hours prior to the flight. As an alternative to a negative test result, travelers may provide proof of a positive COVID-19 test taken in the prior three months and a signed letter from a doctor clearing the individual for travel.

The required test results or doctor approval may be in paper or electronic format and will be checked at the international airport by airline personnel.

Travelers who test positive for COVID-19 before the international flight will be required to quarantine in the destination until they can meet one of the above requirements for travel.

While we are hopeful that all the vaccinations will have been completed by September, the rollout to date has not been particularly smooth across the country. While the glass still looks half full, we hope to have a better picture by the end of March. Up until then, IMHO, September is probably only a notional goal.
