Aluminum Oxide mesh size for tumbling

Hey folks,

New to tumbling tanks here and the recommended supplier (dive supply shop) is out of tumbling media. However, I found another source that has #8 mesh aluminum oxide grit. They have mesh sizes from 8-1200.

Anyone have experience with these mesh sizes and know if they will work? I’m going to be tumbling HP 130’s & 120’s and well a aluminum 80’s and 40’s.

#6 is what I've been using. I see that falls outside of your range.

I’ve been using #8 mesh from these guys in my 130s and 100s. Works great and flows easily in and out of the tank.
