Where to send regs away for service?

Normally I would recommend DRIS as they do great work at a reasonable price and are usually pretty quick. Understanding the OPs situation, maybe consider taking them locally to Elmer's Watersports in Evanston, Myron has worked on a lot of regs and is a tech diver.

Entitled? Nothing. You posted, that “involves” anyone who reads it and is interested. I find it constructive, in a discussion forum, when people discuss.
You posted a question about mail order servicing regs, and when offered a service provider with a generally positive reputation and a presence here, dismissed them without stated reason. I was curious if there was new info about DRIS; @Zef posted a link; I am informed.

Funny, I don’t think there is one.
Two slang terms come to mid as possibly apt: “chill” (adj.) and “laid back” — but those aren’t widely accepted English yet. (One of the classic untranslatables is “sprezzatura” — it’s possible “pigriza” is in the same category.) Generally, though, all related words in English that I can think of have mildly to strongly negative connotations.

“If you are too laid back to service your own regs...”. Hmm. Maybe. Wouldn’t carry as much negative baggage, though I’m not sure it captures pigriza. You might have to say something more explicit, like “If you’d rather spend your time doing other things, then...” which is more neutral.

I’ve used ScubaToys several times; flat up-front pricing, and when I’ve requested specific IPs or cracks, they’ve done them just right. Airtech doesn’t have any prices posted; what do they usually charge for individuals?

Frogg Pond Dive
It would seem that the Frogg Pond dive shop in Highland Park, Illinois has closed.
Their telephone, 847-432-5055, is disconnected. Google says "Temporarily Closed". The information on their website is out-of-date.
Lots of money on the north shore - very few dive shops.

Apology accepted. And I’m sorry if I took it the wrong way. I had long days of driving and diving this weekend.
Don Peterson is a subcontractor servicing reg for dozens of shops around here. You can also mail them to him direct; been using him for everything I own (25+ regs) for over 15 years. Not like it matters if they are in IL, MN, WI or WA. Maybe one extra day of shipping time.
Prices are fair for around here and he does quality work.
