I've been trying to attach a deluxe harness to my freedom plates. I can't find a good way to do it. Open to cutting new holes in the plate if I must. Suggestions on how I could do it?

Maybe these pics of my rigging will be helpful. The harness has to be separated (disassembled) and the single upper shoulder section threaded through the upper plate slots. Then the right and left lower sections of the harness are attached by threading the shoulder strap thru the D-rings back to front. Hopefully this helps. Let me know if you have any questions. I fail to see a scenario where modifying the plate would be necessary. Good luck.

@kelemvor Tri-glides will do ya. I have 4 individual straps.

Shoulders are brought together and woven through the top slots and a tri-glide to anchor them from pulling back through. If yours are long enough you could weave them down and then back up to lock them, but mine aren't (DiveRite TransPack extras)

Waists are anchored by coming through the plate slot looping around the center bar of the tri-glide and D-ring and back through the same slot in the plate and then through the inner slot to dress it.

Sorry for the first shot, the selfie-cam on my phone is horrible and dirty (first selfie I've taken, actually), but it does show the setup reasonably well.
