Every time I dive that site I try to get underneath the school to try to recapitulate the famous David Doubilet swirl shot. No luck yet but I enjoy trying.

Heck not me. I rarely have the WA lens on. Most the time when I'm at this site, I'm buried in the sand next to it looking for critters or along the deck.
This was one of those rare occasions. I must have a guest trail dragging me.:)

Do you happen to remember what month of the year this was taken? I have seen mantas 3 times on GC, Once at the mini wall at LHPT, once at the mini wall at TR and once at the North Wall, all took place in January. Great shot considering circumstances..!:)
