Looks like great customer service from DGX! I bought by mares silver knight setup with aluminum BP from them and did not find an alignment problem.

Yeah, when I was talking with DGX, they reported the misalignment only appears on the 3mm stainless plate. All the other plates have the correct alignment.
The aluminum, plate I got from them worked perfectly. Everything lined up and no more binding on the straps.
