I lost my sola 1200 photo light over the weekend. I need to replace it but can't afford another sola right now .. Can anyone recommend a cheaper red focus light . I've seen one on Amazon but it doesn't have the best reviews.

You can also buy a red gel and rubber band it over your light if you have a regular torch. We used to travel with extras for people to put on their lights. A light orange works really well as well.

I use one similar to this. Depending on your definition of "budget" it might meet your needs. (Mine is more primitive and I have a red filter that I can slip on or off the light as needed.)
