Just finished up the Nitrox course a week ago. Here's the new card, certification is for Computer Nitrox DiverView attachment 537254
Specialty Diver is an SSI pat on the back for completing any 2 certs after OW. It does not reflect anything about which Nitrox course you took.
 
You show Nitrox SSI in the first picture but the Specialty Diver card is SDI. That’s 2 different cards.
 
this topic came up recently in a conversation i had so it reminded me of this thread. curious if you were ever going to share what you discovered after your discussion with SSI. or did i miss your response somewhere ?
 
I haven't thought about this in a bit, but it's still certainly relevant.
After a discussion with SSI, it was explained to me the 32% was asked for and used by live aboard operations who teach classes onboard where 32% is the only thing available.

The previous discussions on book work, test score, etc, not correct.
In fact the last chapter is about planning your dive and using a computer.
