Does Dive Rite offer service training for the Xt1/Xt2 publicly? I'm interested in maintaining my own kit, and have no nearby local dealers. So far, I've returned them to the factory for service. After a minor malfunction of a buddy's (non-DR) reg on its second dive back from factory service, many hours from the nearest shop, my desire for a more intimate understanding of my gear increased even more. Is training an option if I'm not affiliated with a shop?

My understanding is they no longer promote self service and the manuals are only available to dealers.

you could take a Hog regulators class, the xt1 and hog d1 are essentially the same . they are both copies of the apeks dst.
