I will say this ---- while airfares may be getting cheap, the amount of people allowed on a plane will more than likely decrease. So you may be able to "book" a flight, but it doesn't mean that you will get to board when the time comes. With as fast as things are changing, who knows what's gonna happen over the next few weeks


It would be nice for institutional behavior to change wrt the airlines. I mean that the airlines have reduced spacing again and again to cram more people on a plane that ever. It would be good if they start to realize the tradeoff during times of illness. More exposure and reduced distance between people. One can dream I guess.
 
I’m going to try a last minute escape to CZM in April...at the moment, it’s $333.00 from NYC...if it works great, if not, so be it.
 
Well... it seems that Honduras has closed their borders -- hopefully it will pass so I can make it to Raotan
 
Saturday there were non stop flights from LAX to Fort Lauderdale or Miami on the spot for $49 including taxes and fees. I was happy to be headed home and am now glad I did not opt to extend my trip.
