I didn't mind it either, in fact going for a "ride" on the trapeze can be a fun way to end a great dive. It is simply something to be aware of so it dosen't surprise you the first time you see it happen.

I have many fond memories of riding that hang bar during my safety stops, and it was a unique thrill which I have never seen anywhere else. And the diving! OMG! I remember hanging in the gin clear water over enormous coral cliffs which drop away to the abyss and seem to extend on forever! Simply incredible!
