about ten years ago we went in there on open circuit to remove all that and re-line it. DID NOT GO WELL!
now that we've been a bit further it seems a bit silly as there's no reason for anyone to go there

And it gets worse the farther you go. At MM Sink its just bonkers silty and slimey. And 54 degrees.
