On Monday afternoon the dive shop crew took Paradise Diver out to test the passage through the cut. A sailboat moored in the lagoon took this picture. The front windows were broken out of the boat and rained glass across our gear you can see in the back. Needless to say the afternoon was cancelled. But the great news is that no one was injured and we received vouchers for the missed dives.

Wow - that’s crazy! How many dives were folks ultimately able to get in for the week? Winter weather can be tough down there, but this past week seemed unusually windy!

That's insane! Glad no one was hurt. Looks like and exciting ride, though.

Holy moly, Carolyn! That's amazing no one was injured. I thought about all of you this last week and was sad to hear diving was cancelled much of the time. It's just the same here in Florida. We got one day of diving this last week and probably no diving this upcoming week. The seas are crazy with 4-almost 9 foot waves all next week. Ugh!

:eek::eek:

Just to seek clarity, no divers were aboard, only crew and your gear, correct?
