Hey Guys,

I’m stoked to announce that my MAKO Carbon Elite Pole Spears are now available with a ROLLER BUTT!

That’s right! The fastest and most durable pole spear just got faster!
• Shoot fish from farther away with increased accuracy!
• Positions your Grip farther back so you don’t have to get as close to the fish.
• Positions your spear tip closer to the fish without spooking them.
• Carbon shaft is much lighter, faster and stronger than Aluminum.
Twin Ceramic Bearings in roller provide maximum speed and power.
• Easily connects to floatline and float.
• Easily converts to a standard butt pole spear.
• Works with the MAKO Pole Spear Resting Hook.

Available in:
10 foot (3 Piece package) -Can be 6 different pole spear lengths and configurations

8 foot (2 Piece package) -Can be 3 different pole spear lengths and configurations.

And, if you have previously purchased the MAKO Carbon Elite Pole Spear (with “Standard Butt”), you can immediately UPGRADE with an easy to install “Roller Butt Conversion Kit”.

Thanks guys for taking time to ready this.

Thanks for the question. If you select a threaded adapter rod ( we have several optional lengths):

MPSAS-2T.jpg

Then you can attach any 6 mm tip that you want. As you probably know, a 6 mm (male) terminal threading is the standard and most common threading; it allows the use of most tips.

No, the link to the adapter rods we have indicates the threading on either end of the rod.

The part that goes into the pole spear is 5/16" and the terminal end for the spear tip is 6 mm. We don't have a 6 and 7 mm adapter rod. The one we provide is commonly used by MAKO and others.

Oh, I didn't realize that the adapters you list on page: https://www.makospearguns.com/Pole-Spear-Threaded-Adapter-Shafts-p/mpsas.htm were 5/16" to 6mm male/male until now, I initially thought they were 6mm on both ends.
Thank you for your kind replies and patience in answering my questions. You are GREAT!!!

I applaud your fantastic attitude here on SB and your constant effort to produce videos and information on your website to explain your products and how to use them in a simple way for the non-expert to understand more how to do things and what choose to buy. The greater majority of the other vendors don't have this attitude and don't try to spend the time to explain their products to the potential customer as you do. You stand out in this regard.
