MARES 25XR - DR FULL TEK SET, Thoughts? Anyone Using?

Im thinking about getting a set of regs for doubles/a long house set up on a single. Randomly came across these on amazon and thought the price looked good. I have used Mares regs on rental gear in the past but haven't used any of their higher end stuff.
 
Every piece of their xr line that I know had problemes. Recalled drysuit, recalled wing (TWICE), lights that flood, regs breaking closed...
All was fixed and here in Croatia the customer support was top notch, but still...
 
@Lake Hickory Scuba is going to be the best resource on here about Mares, but it is typically not one of the top 5 for brands when looking at dive gear for technical diving at least in the US. Nothing against them necessarily, just late to the game and were never part of that market in the US to begin with
 
Thanks for the input. I knew there was a reason why I had not seen this regulator talked about
 
I never see Mares regulators used in Technical diving in my part of the world, Europe/Africa/ME. This doesn't mean that they aren't used by some, just the trend. The only piece of Mares equipment that I see used is their Q fins.
