I did change the headline for clarity, Justin. Fortune Pond is visited regularly by divers from Wisconsin, Minnesota and Illinois. It offers some of the clearest diving around. Even though you're 8 hours away I would still recommend it. Unless you are strictly into wreck diving in which case you'd likely be disappointed.
 
A you a fan of vintage gear Maxbottomtime?
I have an old Princeton bottom timer and Scubapro depth gauge that I still use sometimes. I began diving with a plastic backpack and 72s.
 
I have a coupke Princeton Tech timers but only one that works. I'll have to dust that off sometime.
As to the 72s, I have several that I keep in hydro. Even a Healthways with the DIN-like valve that was made specifically for the Airflo regulator.
Ever try a double hose reg?
