Apeks RK3 HD fin

Can anyone confirm by picture that the Apeks RK3 HD fin has a “70” on the inside of the foot pocket?

I have the original rk3 and recently bought HD ones online. However, they are the same exact weight as the original RK3. I think they sent the wrong ones. It’s my understanding the only visual difference between the two is a “70” on the inside of the foot pocket.

I don't have an HD to look at, but my dealer's guide says the size L in the original is 5.5 pounds per pair, and the HD is 6.25 pounds per pair.

The UK site says size L RK3 is 1.19kg per fin, and RK3HD is 1.4kg per fin.

So yes, you should definitely be able to measure the weight difference with a luggage scale, even though it seems the US docs rounded to the nearest 1/4 pound so they don't quite line up.

Yes can confirm. There is a small 70 in the foot pocket, a quarter of an inch away from the back eyelet.

I did weigh them and there the same weight. They must have sent me the non-HD fins. The packaging says RK3 HD, that’s why I asked.

There is definitely a weight difference between the RK3 and RK3 HD. My shop did the opposite and sent me the RK3 HD instead of the regular ones and I new the second I lifted them. Hope they fix your order they are both awesome fins!
