Hello,

I am in urgent need of a specialised underwater camera shop to fix my canon G7x that broke down after being flooded. As this is a really long shot i think i am probably better off buying a brand new set up or borrow one if there is a shop that actually does that.

Many thanks in advance!

I'm afraid that most shops won't be underwater, so you should be able to talk to them without getting wet.
The old instructions for a flooded camera were wash it out with fresh water, soak it in distilled water, and dry it in alcohol before giving it to someone who has the ability to work on it. In all likelyhood, if the electronics were exposed to saltwater, it's junk.

Sorry for your loss. If your camera electronics touched sea water, it's fried.
You might find a replacement camera in Cebu but online order with expedited (overnight)shipping would be your best bet for UW stuff.
I killed a couple of my cameras over the years, the housing was still good after some deep cleaning.
