It's 50/50 over here.
Half the people think german cars are way better than the rest, and the other half think they are way overpriced for what you get.
Which I suppose is pretty similar to how people feel about Halcyon...

Same experience with an MGB loved that car but it broke down wether it needed to or not. I was always fixing something on it.
