Again?! I hate doing that, but did. Didn't help.

It was my zoom. I tried CTRL- and it appeared.

You can delete cookies selectively, for a particular site, so you don't lose all the stuff in them for the entire browser. How to do that varies by browser.

I should have thought of that before. I get carried away with the CTRL+ zoom at times even tho I'm not required to wear glasses driving, and I have seen similar problems.
