I was on the Poling this past weekend and went to see if the cod, whom I saw last month was still taking up residence under the break. Aside from some cunner, nothing out of the ordinary was there. As I went to grab my buddy he pointed behind me and there was a wolffish swimming towards the wreck on the starboard side. Hopefully he will be moving back in. If anyone dives the Poling this week, check under the break for the wolffish.

Never seen a wolfish while diving. Nice find. Currently you are not allowed to keep them while fishing. And the 1 cod you can keep in the gulf of Maine makes it hard to justify a fishing trip. Hopefully both species will rebound.

The wolf fish has been there on most dives this year. I've frequently seen him on the break on starboard side.

I used also frequently see him on port side just before the break. Usually there is cod under this section.
