Okinawa is great. I didn't get to dive last time, but I'm going this year with my naui cert. May also hit the Philippines too.
I recommend Reef Encounters as a shop, they're very friendly and professional. Ask to see the Emmons if you qualify for it.

I'm from Hungary, but (to the great puzzlement of my former instructor colleague), I took my NAUI Basic in Okinawa at Reef Encounters. I also dove in Malta, where I got talked into doing the PADI Advanced, after which I decided to go back to Reef Encounters this year to do my NAUI Master and Nitrox courses.
I've also been to Croatia this year, on a company anniversary trip, where we dove the Plani Jadran, a wrecked passenger vessel. The area is a bit desolate, much of the flora and fauna are gone from the Adria, but the wreck does offer a nice one-off sight.

I'd also like to take this chance to ask for more people to fill out my market research survey at https://forms.gle/PfjuQfJfgBmTi5VS9. The idea is a dive site catalog with condition information (both above and below the waterline) provided not just by institutions, but also by local divers.
