From the look of it the sinking wasn't all that traumatic. Reminds me of a similar experience in Cozumel back around 2005, one of the Dive Paradise boats was overloaded, took a wave broadside and tipped.. and tipped.. and the water started rushing in and down she went, about 30' to the reef below. They had it pulled and dry docked the next day.
Privately owned boat which was moored out in front of Villa Blanca area. I think someone forgot to put the plug in.
