"These hoses are slightly less flexiable than a standard rubber hose but not so much that you can really feel the difference in the water. "

From description. So beside more colorful, what is the advantage?
Cheap and colorful, I like my hoses like I like my Wom.....

My orange hoses came in today, haven’t had a chance to do anything with them yet but in hand they are nice and bright, light and a little stiffer than normal rubber. I have orange deep 6 hoses to compare them to, I’ll take some pics tomorrow.

OK, keep us posted! :)

considering the braided hose debacle, i am sticking with rubber and will wait on the results in 5 years.

+1
Will not take the risk just for something that looks cool and will leave a few thousand guinea pigs test them for a few years before considering it.

Here are a few shots of the pvc from piranha against the Deep6

I will measure and hold the same distance later.

PVC has been used in cheap shop compressor hoses for decades.
I would be more concerned about the liner. PVC does tend to offgas quite a bit.
