Was out at Tyee last evening. About 3 feet in the shallows, and up to about 30 feet in places at depth.

Dove at Tyee this evening. Tide was on a low ebb. Visibility was 3 feet at best down to 70 feet. Lots of particulate in the water. Cleared some after 70 feet, but you needed a light to see anything :(

Dove at Madrona point last night. High flood tide and lots of current in the shallows. Less current on the wall. Vis was poor down to about 60 feet, then opened up quite good after that.

Visibility was better today at Henderson Point (Saanich Inlet). I didn't notice a thermocline or an obvious layer where visibility suddenly got better, but visibility gradually cleared from maybe 8' in the shallows to 20-30' at 60' deep to around 40' at 100' deep. There were lots of particles floating around at all depths.

Finally some good vis at Tyee yesterday morning. Pronounced thermocline around 30 feet. Vis a good 40 feet plus at depth, and not bad in the shallows either. Tide was on a high ebb.

At Whittaker Point in Saanich Inlet (sort of between Willis Point and McKenzie Bight) visibility was about 10' in the shallows and started to clear below 30' deep. Below 60' deep, visibility was about 50'. I did a second dive across the Inlet at McCurdy Point and visibility was the same there.
