Thank you for your patience on this matter and for bringing this up to our attention. It took us a while but @tcoen figured it out. It is a bug. In the average SAC calculation code on the Teric, the SAC is calculated in 5 second chunks and averaged over the last 2 minutes. But before including each 5 second chunk in the average, there is a range check that SAC is positive. Negative values do not get included in the average, but the denominator for calculating the average was still updated. This is wrong. Either the negative values should be included, or the denominator shouldn’t be updated.

On our test protocols pressure changes are always decreasing. In the real world there could be slight pressure increases that could create the negative values referred above. Now that we've identified the issue, we know how to fix it and we plan on including it in a future firmware update. Perdix AI is not affected by this bug.
