"Waskaganish will never be the same without our dearly beloved, Cameron.
It was a blessing to have known him. Forever in the heart of Waskaganish eeyou nation. Our heartfelt sympathies to all who knew him. Especially to his Mom Bonnie and his Bro.

Ray, the Cree people loved Cameron

He loved them right back, that is for certain.

Every day I was hoping to see the relieving story about Northernone found back... Let's hope he'll find lots of funny mermaids and mermen in the place where he is now...

I'll miss your posts, Cameron. Enjoy the eternal oceans...

As a fellow northern one I am so sad to hear this. I was hoping that somehow some way he would pop up and tell us all about this great dive he had.

Words will never express enough but suffice to say he will be missed.

A month or two ago, I gave him a couple of my old 5 mm wetsuits for his girls in the north to use. His gratitude was so genuine. I was helping him write up a document to use as a basis to seek funding for his program in northern Canada. It is saved on my computer as "Cameron's story". If you only knew what he was doing for those kids....

I only knew Cameron from his posts but from reading his frequent posts his knowledge and compassion were evident. His positive outlook and friendly comments will be missed. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.
