I would assume that was burst
Yes, I believe the way he did the test was to open the valve with nothing connected to the end of the LP hose, simulating a burst rather than a leak.

I haven't had a burst hose but I've seen a youtube video or two where it happened. Watching the video was 'exciting', but if I was the person standing next to it, I don't know if that's the word I'd use!
