For diving, Nova Scotia isn't bad. Nothing spectacular like what I read about on the BC coast, Vancouver I. The ocean hear goes from maybe 65F (18C) in Aug./Sept. down to near freezing at times in winter. As opposed to the much narrower range on the West Coast.
