Scuba diver drowns on Surf Coast
A scuba diver has drowned in Torquay.

The man had been diving with friends before he was pulled unconscious from the water near Point Danger at 10am on Sunday.

An off-duty police officer performed CPR on the man for about 30 minutes before paramedics arrived at The Esplanade and took over.

The man, who is yet to be identified, died at the scene.

Saw this in local media but no more details. Sad.
