Looks like Santi just unvieled an Elite Plus drysuit model at the Boot Dive show. Has anybody seen it in person? I just placed an order with DRIS for a new suit and then immediately had them put it on hold to see what this model is about.

Any ideas when it will be available?

Differences compared to the standard Elite?

Anybody at the Boot show and see this suit?

I have ordered one over a month ago and still waiting for it.......
I guess that not only girls make you wait that long.
Quality wise I can only say SANTI. Performance wise as soon as I punch some dives with it I will let you know.

It's been over a year now. Time to resurrect a old thread for updates.

How many have gotten one of these, what are your impressions of it.

Ordered one about 3 weeks ago, so I'm patiently (for now) awaiting its arrival so I can test it out. Preparing for an upcoming trip to Antarctica, so hopefully it arrives sooner rather than later. I'll definitely be posting on SB after that trip regarding all the equipment I picked up to scuba in that type of environment.

Finding information about this suit is proving difficult.

The Santi website has detailed information about it, and Simply Scuba did a nice review of it on YouTube. I haven't seen a lot of first hand reviews or experience actually diving it though.

I have one, been diving it a little over a year. I don't have a lot to compare it to, just a Waterproof D1. I would guess I have around 30 or so dives in it. I'm satisfied with it and enjoy wearing it. Santi tweaked the standard sizing based on my measurements, It's easy to get in and out of, I haven't had any issues with the zipper, I stay pretty dry. I've taken it into the ocean, cold quarries, and warm cenotes. It washes off and rolls up nicely. The one thing I notice sometimes is how thin the soles of the boots are; walking on rocks periodically reminds me of that. Smart gloves are ok, fit secure and don't leak. It's a solid suit, does what I want it to do.
