what's the difference from the first model? their website doesn't say
 
I guess the difference is the upgraded power-connector.
I started out with the old gloves, and the connector\wires broke several times before the gloves eventually was replaced under warranty to the new type. I have not had any problems with the new type.

Better connector ... I've used the V2 with the upgraded connector and own V1. As long as you plug it in before donning, there is very little issues with the connector

Interesting, didn't know there was a newer version. I've got the original ones and have never plugged them in. I forgot to connect them the first time I used them for a 90 minute scooter dive in 37F water. My hands were warm. Ive been happy with them unplugged and can run my vest longer now.
