It's not to late to join CHUM for our 13th Annual CHUM Claims the Comal Camping, Scuba Diving and Tubing trip!!! Gather up your camping gear and descend into the Comal River with your CHUM buddies, group floats and the CHUM'O'PEDE, dinners and s'mores around the campfire...it's a CHUM tradition and you don't want to miss it!
For those who may not know, the Comal River is in New Braunfels and is a comfy 72 degrees year round. It's not deep, but does have a light current for some easy drift diving and tube chutes for the adventurous types. Plan on driving up Friday night, camping, waking up Saturday morning for an A.M. dive. After the dive, we can return to camp, dry out a bit, and then rent some tubes for a float down the river; if we decide not to float, we usually start the BBQ a little earlier and spend the rest of day in the Circle'O'CHUM relaxing. Typically, at night we hang out around the campsite, but you can also head into New Braunfels or nearby Gruene to enjoy the nightlife. Sunday repeat the diving & tubing as desired, or we can all go have breakfast together and get an earlier start back to Houston. Come for all, or just part of the weekend. This is a great weekend trip for the whole family because it is close to Houston!
