I did Big Sur on the Vision a few years ago. It was rough and cold (around 48 degrees), but we managed to get in 3 dives a day with reasonably good viz. The swim step is a problem no matter what. I'm surprised they haven't re-designed it.
 
I was not sorry I did the trip in 2015. Loved it so much I brought more people the following year to bad conditions (They still haven't forgiven me!). I agree, seems to be very iffy for the cost and logistics. Now a 3 day Nicholas/Clemente trip would be awesome!
 
That guys tank looks amazingly huge. Like a water heater ! I'm still half thinking it's photoshopped.
