Looks like left arm. Glove still partially on. Arm wrapped and dressing bloody in spots.
 
I was trying to figure out if his fingers were black or what. Glove still on explains it.
 
First guess but there are a few other possibilities. Had a friend who put his hand on a handrail at sea and something heavy dropped on it and smashed off half his hand. I imagine that if you got our hand pinched between boat and bouncing ladder it could do a number. He seemed alert in the picture.
 
Reports are that the operator (Randy) was shark feeding and the shark got him.
