I'm a Fish!
Well, its getting to be that time of year again. The group will have their Spring Meet and Greet on May 19th - 21st, 2017 at Gilboa Quarry, in Gilboa, OH. If you are new to diving or looking for new dive buddies, this is a great place to be.

Friday:
Most people start showing up staring mid morning and throughout the day. Typically for those that show up early we do a dive around noon after setting up campsites. The rearmost turnaround is reserved for our group for that weekend. This is where we typically hang out, have a camp fire, and do the cooking for the weekend. Friday evening we plan for cooking over the campfire and talking scuba late into the evening.

Saturday:
This is the main day. The group (or most of it) dives almost continually throughout the day. Groups get together and plan their dives at the turnaround so come down to get into the fun. About noon we will have a potluck. Bring a dish to pass. We typically have a great food selection! The not to be missed item is Denny's (Barracuda) Polish Sausage! Friday evening we again gather around the camp fire and continue the eating and telling of stories. We have some diehards who will be enjoying the campfire way into the early morning hours of Sunday.

Sunday:
In some instances the fun from Saturday night just rolls into Sunday. For those who were able to catch some sleep, there more dive plans are made and a few dives are conducted Sunday morning. Typically around noon the group will start to disperse.

For the campfire, Mike sets us up with wood for the weekend. Don't forget to see Denny (remember the guy above with the Polish Sausage!) for contributions to the wood fund for the weekend!

This is the event that a lot of dive trips get planned for the summer season. There are no dues to become a member of the GLWC. Just show up and introduce yourself. Then have a great time with a great bunch of divers (...well most of them are pretty good...)

Hope to see you there!
